Abbeys, villas, palaces and towers of particular beauty can be found in this area, since Roman times used for vineyards and well kept in nice and highly technological cellars. Often it is possible to find art masterpieces in the several wine-growing and –producing companies and to visit the local wine museums. Guests will attend a workshop to learn about Franciacorta history and wines and how to taste them as introduction to the 3 top cellar and vineyards visits. In one of them guest will try a blind tasting. A bike tour is one of the best ways of visiting this area, getting in touch with the local nature and people. Franciacorta is also home of the best restaurant in Italy, Gualtiero Marchesi, as indicated in several guide-books.
