Wine lovers and tourists are welcomed on 7 and 8 of May along the Franciacorta wine-route, the best sparkling producing area, in north of Italy. The event on programma is Franciacortando and is a general invitation for those who'd like to explore by walking this great area, with great wineries, restaurants and wine estates. Franciacorta is a kind of "champenoise" sparkling wines, with fermentation into the bottle. Seven itineraries will include wineries (interesting for history and architecture), ancient abbeys and shrines, historic homes and buildings, vineyards, distilleries, taverns. A programme of music and exhibitions will take place in some cellars, with tastings of local products and a glass of Franciacorta. Vacation packages for the weekend in various types of accommodation, from the farm to the historic mansion and the hotel: from 90€ to 450€, depending on period, accommodation, program of visits and tastings.
